Wordcraft, a new vocabulary tool that teaches ESOL vocabulary through Latin and Greek root words, is available for testing. The website is at www.playwordcraft.com
Wordcraft was developed in NYC public schools as an experiment. By teaching vocabulary through the building blocks, students, many of them multilingual, learned thousands of words and developed a vocabulary that soon rivaled their parents’.
