Wesner, Student Hi, my name is Wesner. I am from Haiti. I’ve lived in the U.S. for one year. I came to this country because my wife lived in the United States since 1987. I want to learn English because it will help me get a job and to communicate with English speaking people. My tutor’s name is Jay McCune. He helps me with my conversation and understanding of the English language.

I take English classes at 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesdays. I like Literacy Volunteers because they help me with my English. My dream in this country is to become a U.S. Citizen.

Free One-to-One Tutor:
Register at our office for a Free English Tutor. You will meet once a week for 2 hours. Contact us to make an appointment:

Group Classes:
Small group classes met once a week for 1 1/2 hours in the library. Register at our office.
